Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without stating a reason.
The period begins on the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please send a clear declaration to:

You can submit the withdrawal by letter or e-mail. An electronic confirmation will be sent without delay.
To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the revocation in good time.

Exclusion or lapse of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following product groups:

1. Temperature- and heat-sensitive chocolate

Chocolate is a temperature-sensitive food. It can melt even at moderate outside temperatures or be visually damaged by temperature fluctuations (e.g. fat bloom, loss of texture, deformation).
Goods whose marketability and saleability have been impaired by heat, sunlight or temperature fluctuations are considered perishable within the meaning of § 312g para. 2 No. 2 BGB.
A right of withdrawal is excluded in these cases.

This includes in particular:
– melted goods,
– goods with fat bloom,
– structural or textural changes,
– damage caused by uncontrollable temperature changes during or after delivery.

2. Hygiene products after opening the seal

Goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene are excluded from the withdrawal if the seal has been removed after delivery.

3. Individually manufactured products

There is no right of withdrawal for individually designed or personalized chocolate.

Orders to non-EU countries
The following applies to shipments to countries outside the European Union:

1. Refused acceptance / non-payment of import duties:
If a delivery is not accepted due to refusal to accept it or non-payment of import duties or import taxes, we reserve the right not to accept the goods again or not to resend them.

2. Shipping costs:
The real shipping costs incurred by us will not be reimbursed and must be borne by the customer without exception.

3. Costs of return:
If the costs of the return (e.g. return transport costs of the logistics partner, customs return fees) exceed the value of the goods, these must be borne in full by the customer.

4. Transfer of risk:
The risk for non-acceptance, customs delays and missing import duties lies entirely with the customer.

Consequences of revocation

If a right of withdrawal exists in a specific case, the following applies:

Refund
We will refund the purchase price excluding delivery costs within 14 days of receipt of your cancellation. The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return shipment.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You must pay compensation for loss of value if the loss in value is due to the fact that the goods were handled differently than was necessary to check their nature, properties and functionality.

Liability for Heat and Delivery Conditions

After the goods have been handed over to the parcel service, the customer bears the risk of temperature-related damage. This also applies to delivery to storage locations or self-selected delivery options.

A return of temperature-damaged goods is excluded.
